Ethel's current projects involve Trompe L'Oeil, from the French meaning literally deceive the eye. This type of painting creates a three dimensional reality on a two dimensional surface. Trompe l'oeil allows one to create a beautiful illusion and is used in homes, back yards, walkways and business buildings.
